Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver? Do you have a RTITB/ ITSAAR valid and in date forklift certificate?

Randstad In House Services are working in partnership with Perkins Engines to recruit for Forklift drivers at their Peterborough site.

Working Hours

39 hours per week. You would have to be flexible to work the following shifts:

Earlies Mon – Fri 05.45 to 14.30
Days Mon – Thu 07.00 to 16.15 and Fri 07.00 to 11.00
Back Shift Mon – Thu 14.30 to 01.00

Salary: £26,000per year – £26,000 per year + Overtime

Responsibilities

* Working within a warehouse environment
* Unloading / loading material from/on to external trailers
* Unloading / loading material from/on to internal trailers
* Transferring material, engines or packaging to a specified location
* Container washing/ sorting and packaging consolidation
* Transporting goods within site
* Working both in a team and or individually at times
* Ability to read standard ops and workplace manuals
* Manual lifting may be required
* Operating lifting devices
* Adhere to PPE and H&S requirements
* Safety checks to be conducted on trucks each day
* Shift work and overtime required

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

* Minimum 1 year of recent experience driving a Counterbalance
* A national valid and in date forklift certificate or a refresher certificate
* Inhouse licences can not be accepted
* Shift work and overtime required
