Person Specification
We are looking for a talented and inspirational Teaching Assistant who can join the team here and make a good contribution from day 1. You will have exemplary communication and organisational skills and a positive attitude. We are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant who can combine excellent academic ability with a friendly, supportive approach; therefore, you will need to hold a 2:1 from a good university and have a positive, nurturing character.
About the Role
This Primary Teaching Assistant role involves working for some of the time in a particular Year 4 class with a superb, experienced class teacher and only 29 pupils. You will be tasked with leading small, extra-class groups for increased support in numeracy and literacy. At other times you will be moving through the school providing ad hoc support where it is needed. These duties will combine focused tasks with varied responsibilities, giving you the perfect platform for experience moving forward into your chosen future career.
