Salary: £48,000 – £66,000 per year
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Contracts Manager in Birkenhead, CH43. Our client is a Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor based in the area.
Our client provide Mechanical & Electrical building services on mainly commercial projects from small refurbishments through to major new build construction projects – they also provide full design, planning & implementation of traditional Mechanical & Electrical Services as well as the complete range of renewable technologies.
As a Contracts Manager, you will reportto the Directors, who will outline each site to you. You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out the role of Mechanical/Plumbing Contracts Manager on a range of mainly Commercial Developments within the North West
* For all aspects of those contracts, including purchasing, labour control, cost control, commissioning, programming, appoint and control of sub-contractors and correspondence.
* Supervision of Mechanical Operatives and to monitor progress of individuals and liaise with company management regarding performance.
* Liaising with management regarding future planning of mechanical projects and number of operatives required.
* Receiving contract documentation from management and to set up and organise contracts delegating day to day running of individual projects to designated operative(s)
The ideal candidate will have:
* Membership of Professional Body
* In possession of current CSCS Card
* Practical experience within the industry (with qualifications and references)
* In possession of clean driving licence
* Contract Management experience (with qualifications and references)
* Estimating experience
* Design experience
* AutoCAD skills.

Salary on offer is £48,000 – £66,000 + package (package includes car allowance as well as generous holidays).
