Physical Education Teacher

Simply Education require a Physical Education Teacher to take up a teaching post in September 2013 for a inner city Oxfordshire school. The post will be initially 1 term with the view to carrying on into term 2.

The school are seeking a Physical teacher who has been Teaching in a mixed 11-18 comprehensive school up to KS5. You will be a good classroom teacher with excellent behavior management skills. The successful Physical Education will have the motivation to work with children and young people and the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.

The Requirements:
As the successful Physical Teacher you will need to;
– Be a newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
– Have the ability and experience of teaching PE to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
– Have strong classroom management skills.
– Be able to deal with challenging behavior and a patient/creative approach is necessary.
– Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
