Jaydee-Brook is an established and successful Shopfitting & Internal Fit Out Company based in Peterborough.  With over 30 years’ experience in retail, commercial, industrial installations and refurbishments, the Company has built a strong reputation for quality, efficiency and service.

As part of our expansion programme we are currently looking to recruit a:

DIRECTOR – ELECTRICAL DIVISION

Location:              Head Office Peterborough – Projects throughout UK & Ireland

Salary:                  Up to £100k + pa Dependent on Experience – Capabilities

Holidays:              25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Pension:               Workplace Company Pension Scheme

Vehicle:                A Company Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance will be offered

Bonus:                  A Bonus Scheme based on performance and targets will be advised

This is a Director level role, working alongside the existing Directors.  The role will include the management of the entire M&E operation, controlling the site personnel and Project Managers.  The successful candidate must be experienced in a similar role and have a proven track record including pricing, cost control, stock control and technical support with an ambitious manner to develop the division further.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Setting the overall strategy for the electrical division.
  • Developing long term plans.
  • Overseeing the implementation of initiatives in order to meet organisational goals.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to employees to ensure that work is completed effectively & efficiently.
  • Reporting to the Managing Partners regarding the status of projects and initiatives for growth.
  • Expanding the existing client base to achieve pre-determined sales targets.
  • Ensure that teams are properly trained and managed to work in a safe, quality conscious and effective way, encouraging the medium / long term development of the team members and productivity is maximised.
  • Manage employee relations to ensure discipline & high standards of works and attendance at all times.
  • Ensure safe working practices are in place and observations are investigated and actions put in place to eliminate or mitigate reoccurrence.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience within the shopfitting or fit out industry in general is preferred and would be beneficial.
  • Relevant qualifications commensurate to this position is expected
  • At least 5 years experience at managing at a senior level.
  • Technical knowledge and trade understanding to be able to act on site / team member queries.
  • Willing to travel and have flexible work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Be highly organised with great attention to detail.
