Fire Protection Surveyor

Salary: £44,400 – £48,000 per year

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in Bracknell and Surrey. They are looking for experienced Passive Fire Protection Surveyors to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team.

We are seeking a trustworthy and hardworking Passive Fire Protection Surveyor to work within our growing team of Fire Protection Specialists covering London, Surrey and the Southeast. Compliance is key in our industry and therefore we are seeking candidates who have a form of third-party accreditation and a wealth of knowledge in the sector. However, we have our own internal training school and will look to further develop your external qualifications throughout your employment. 

Our package & equipment includes a company van, use of a company tablet, fuel card, tools, PPE, 23 Days Holiday (plus BH) and all the training and support you require to become certified within our industry.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 4:30PM.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible with carrying out post FRA inspections, comprising of inspections of communal and flat doors and frames and compartmentation surveys.
• Responsible with quality checks and compliance surveys and other site inspections as required.
• Work closely with the designated contracts manager.
• Liaise with residents/clients where required to arrange appointments and access.
• Any additional duties that may be reasonable required, relevant to your position.
• Ability to manage and supervise a team.
• Giving quality technical advice to the site team and office members.
• Flexible with regards to travelling

Pay: £37,000 – £40,000 Per annum

Skills Required:

• Good communication, numerical skills, and good work ethic.
• Report writing skills including the ability to prepare compliance audits by using digital platforms.
• Ability to work within a team or on the role.
• A good level of construction technology, building regulations and pathology.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Trade background
• FDIS or ASFP courses/certifications would be ideal
