Multi Drop Driver and Warehouse

Adecco Bolton are currently recruiting on behalf of their well established client for an experienced multi drop driver in the Bolton area.

This role is very physically demanding and requires a candidate with experience of heavy lifting in their previous roles.

You will assist clients on site at all given times, for example: by unloading orders in to designated areas – This could be 20 drums of 20 litres, through the clients premises, downstairs and in to the storage rooms.

In this position you will be represent the brand on site with customers, you will have the most face to face contact with the businesses clients on a weekly basis and must be able to build rapport, act professionally whilst providing a helpful and polite service.

You will work flexibly, starting your shift in order to beat daily traffic. You will be responsible for meeting multi drop deadlines in line with average run times.

This role is predominantly a driving position, but you will offer support in the warehouse on a standard shift of 9-5pm.

This is a fixed rate contract, allowing you to complete drops in a timely manner, return to the office and finish for the day. This may mean some days you complete 9hrs and others 5hrs.

You will be responsible for returning the van in a timely manner allowing the van to be reloaded for the next days deliveries.

Skills and experienced required:
– Full clean UK driving license.
– Experience in a multi-drop driving role.
– Experience in a warehouse environment.
– Physically fit, within a demanding role.
– Strong communication and personal skills – ability to build rapport with clients on site and represent the brand professionally at all times.
– Reliable – clients are depending on these deliveries and the business can’t afford for absence and lateness.
