Data Analyst – Cost Control

Client:

Our client is a very well established and forward thinking business, managing aircraft component repairs for airlines and MRO companies. They focus strongly on staff training and personal development. They are now seeking a Data Analyst within the Cost Control team in Berkshire to enable a reduction in their customer’s operating costs.

Responsibilities:
·To review data relating to the repair of aircraft components, and when the repairs are not completed in the agreed time, to create a penalty claim on behalf of the client.
·To liaise with suppliers of overdue repairs, negotiate and agree refunds.
·To assist in ensuring supplier service level agreements (SLAs) are adhered to at all times.
·To update the company database.
·To build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external departments and suppliers.

Ideal candidate profile:
·Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and use of the internet.
·A methodical and analytical approach to work with good prioritisation skills.
·Clear written and verbal communication skills
·Previous experience in cost control, warranty administration, managing SLAs and enforcing supplier agreements would be extremely beneficial.
·A passion for aerospace.

Additional Information:
·Job type: Permanent, based in Berkshire.
·Monday to Friday.
·Salary: £26,000 – £32,400per year DOE, Free parking.
