Senior Development Chef

Our FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Good) client is looking for a Senior Development Chef to join their team. They are a market leader in the food production manufacturing company.

Main duties:
-To motivate and inspire the department /site to a newer, higher level of culinary excellence
-To provide creative development which results in the launch of new products in both current and new categories.
-Present ideas clearly, accurately and persuasively to achieve creative developments throughout the department/site.
-Understands the wants and needs of both internal and external customers.
-Have overall awareness of retailers comparative products from all major retailers
-Self managed to enable the delivery of projects across the departments/site to agreed timescales and budget.
-Keep the departments/site aware of world-wide food through ingredients, techniques and leading chefs.
-Benchmark current products and agree with department(s)/site unit of improvements and upgrades

Requirements
-Must haves – 3 years experience in chilled food manufacturing
– Have experience with major food retailers
– Be a qualified chef
– Management experience, preferably above the chefs and leading/managing a team.
– Ideally worked in a FMCG environment
– Passionate for innovation, and taking the company to the next level as a business.
-Confidence in presenting to customers and liaising.

Operational hours are from Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

The location is based in North West London.

This is a full time permanent position.

Salary is up to £72,000per annum, depending on experience.
