Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

Professional Development Consultant

The role is to provide a consultant service to internal and external customers in the use of technology in a learning environment. The ideal candidates will require APLS as the role will have a focus on Apple products and technology.

The role:

• Be able to proactively identify and respond to the needs of educational institutions

• Be able to gather, disseminate and share best practice

• Work with clients to solve their problems using education technology

• Be able to present your ideas and solutions in an effective way

• Actively support the extended education team

• Use, develop and support assistive technologies

• Understand how to work with teachers, leaders and organisations

• Develop teaching and learning materials including video tutorials

• Coaching and mentoring educators in education technology

Required:

• Qualified teacher status with at least 8 years in classroom experience

• Experience with training and coaching teachers

• BA Hons Degree

• Experience teacher all ages in education including adults

• Microsoft office – Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word

• Experience with teaching with Apple Mac and iPad

• Apple Teacher Certified

• UK Driving Licence

• Experience with using other technologies, such as Google Apps, Adobe, Showbie

• An understanding of special needs education and accessibility features on the iPad

• To be able to teach coding to KS1 to KS5

Preferred:

• Apple Professional Learning Specialist

• Google Certified Trainer

• Google Certified Innovator

• Microsoft Certified Educator

• Showbie Certified Educator
