We are currently working with a nationwide charity who are looking for a Barnsley-based Health & Social Care Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis for a 12 month contract.
The successful candidate will be asked to join the charity’s Health & Social Care education team, and will be responsible for assisting the charity’s lecturers in the classroom. This role does not require you to be teacher qualified, and would be a good entry level position for someone looking to break into Health & Social Care training.
The role would consist of 37 hours per week, and all of the work would take place at the charity’s centre in Barnsley.
The starting salary for this position will be between �16,000 and �18,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), which would also include a pension, and a holiday allowance of 25 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A Health & Social Care qualification
-Previous experience of doing a Health & Social Care-related role
