Salary: £26,000 – £26,400 per year
This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Ambitions Personnel who are acting as an employment business. We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for our well established client based in Sleaford. The main purpose of this role is to assist the Financial Controller with the day to day accounts and produce management accounts to Trial Balance stage.
Mains duties include, but are not restricted to:
* Bank reconciliation
* Sales ledger
* Purchase ledger
* Dealing with multiple with foreign currency payments and receipts
* Month end closure of Sale and Purchase ledgers
* Fixed assets
* Prepayments and Accruals
* VAT returns
* Look after petty cash
You must have the following skills:
* Previous experience is essential
* Accountancy qualification advantageous
* Excellent IT skills
* Experience with Payroll is desirable
* Strong analytical ability
