What you need to know about the role

We have an exciting role for a Service Clinical Director where you will lead the clinical team and play a crucial role in developing and implementing excellent clinical practice. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support, working with them to develop the personal, flexible, and realistic support packages they need to help turn things around. This is an opportunity to not only deliver clinical and prescribing services in a supportive environment, but to be involved in shaping the service to ensure the people of Cumbria receive the best possible support.

Humankind’s clinical teams are supported by a multi-disciplinary, forward thinking, and innovative Clinical Department. We offer regular clinical supervision, peer support groups with fellow clinical leaders in the organisation, with an internal appraisal to support personal development. Support with revalidation and NHS external appraisal is available through Humankinds Responsible Officer and their team. There is protected Continued Professional Development (CPD) time with the ability to engage in research and innovation.

We are looking for A GMC Registered Doctor. You will have previous experience of leading senior clinicians, with the ability to provide sound clinical advice to colleagues and offer support in clinical decision-making.
