An innovative technology company who design, develop, manufacture and market defence technologies are looking for a Propellant Craft Machinist

Responsibilities

+ General Machining Duties

+ Machining of Solid Propellant samples

+ Setting of CNC machines to allow semi-skilled operatives to operate equipment

+ Assist the Process Technical Authority with New job set ups and programming

+ Carry out scheduled maintenance clean downs of the machines

Requirements

Candidates should have experience and knowledge of the following:

+ Setter / Operator

+ Skilled engineer competent in milling, turning and general machine shop tasks

+ Competent in programming CNC lathes ( Fanuc and windows format )

+ Competent in programming Millers ( Centroid, Haas )

However, consideration would be given to a person with:

+ An engineering background

+ Able to read engineering drawings

+ Willing to undertake training
