Solderer & Electrical Assembler

KPJ Group are looking for a Solderer/ Electrical Assembler to join a world leader in the manufacturer of electronics based in Manchester.

Duties will include:
-Assembling and testing products to documented standards, Company quality standards and procedures
-Assist with the NPI process
-Adhere to your individual responsibilities for Health and Safety procedures and maintaining housekeeping standards

Skills:
-Manual dexterity, Soldering, crimp and use of general hand assembly tools
-Read, Interpret and work from engineering drawings, method sheets or samples
-Use of process materials include resins and glues
-General component identification
-Use of computerised stock control systems and peripheral equipment

Assembly:
-Assembly of wiring looms & cables, electro mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products using company documentation and quality standards
-Ensure the integrity and quantity of the materials used in the process meet the required standards.

Test:
-Test products using company equipment documentation and quality standards
-Ensure the integrity and quantity of the product passed to the next stage of the process

Pack:
-Pack and label products to required standards

General:
-Assemble and test products to standard times set by the company
-Handling process materials safely to prevent degradation of materials
-Work to company standards and procedures
-Assist in areas required by the business

Health and safety:
-Correct use and storage of PPE and RPE issued
-Comply with company H&S procedures and legislation
-Manual dexterity
-Working to time scales
-Communication

Hours:
Mon to Thurs 8:00 to 16:30 Fri 8:00 till 13:30
