Home Manager

Salary: £78,000 per year

Are you a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced Nurse Qualified Registered Home Manager (RGN or RMN) – with a focus on Person Centred Care? Our client is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to be the Registered Home manager and work closely with the Group Manager. This is a well-established purpose built 90 bed Care home facility in stunning grounds and is conveniently located near to the M5. The Home has a Good CQC and offers a wide range of activities and gets involved with the wider community to provide a home from home for its residents.

This is a busy and successful business and you will manage a team of professional nurses and Care staff, developing best practice, leading by example and supporting further development of Person-Centred care. You will ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the Home, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, manage all relevant staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills for Nurse Qualified Registered Home Manager:

* A Nursing Diploma/degree or equivalent with a valid NMC pin number. (RGN or RMN)

* Previous experience working as a Nurse Qualified Registered Manager in a Care Home environment

* Registered Managers award or equivalent

* An excellent communicator with proven experience in leading and motivating a team

* Excellent at managing relationships (Internal and External)

* A good understanding of Regulatory Compliance and evidence of up to date nursing practice

* Experience in maintaining a home’s occupancy

* Experience of quality management and sound knowledge of CQC

* Self-Motivated Team Player.
