Junior IT Project Manager

My client is a market leading organisation with a global presence undergoing continued growth due to ongoing successes.

Due to an internal promotion, a new vacancy has arisen for a Junior IT Project Manager to be based in south Wales. This Project Manager will manage IT and business applications projects across the globe, accounting for upgrades and installations of new systems across group companies – the majority of the infrastructure is Windows and Cisco based, though only minimal knowledge of IT is essential for this role. Projects will operate in a matrix structure (multiple concurrent projects) and by Prince2 methodologies. Given the global nature of the role, there is also opportunity for occasional travel abroad.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in Project Management, excellent stakeholder management skills and ideally a knowledge of Prince2. Any IT knowledge or relevant qualifications are an advantage. This role is a great opportunity for someone with minimal Project Management experience to progress their career.

Essential skills
