Warehouse Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

Job Title: Warehouse Operative – NIGHT SHIFT

Reports To: Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Staveley, Chesterfield

Hours: 48 hours over 4 nights, either Sunday – Wednesday or Tuesday – Friday

Salary: £26,000 per year + 3% bonus on contracted hours (40) with an additional bonus of £10.00 per night shift worked and £7.50 per 12 hour shift worked

Main Purpose: To work as part of a team and responsible for picking and packing of goods

Main tasks and duties

Production / Packing

• Driving an FLT (Counterbalance, Low Loader Order Picker and Reach)
• Loading and unloading HGVs
• Manual picking, packing and wrapping
• Accurate and on time picking / packing of products
• Ensure onward delivery of products are delivered on time to their relevant destination
• Report daily shortages and play an integral part in improvement initiatives
• Good team working skills
• Use own initiative
• Excellent communication skills
