Electrical Control and Instrumentation Design Engineer

Throughout the 25 years of our client’s history, their Design Engineers have been responsible for designing some of the most innovative systems which are now being used through the Oil and Gas industry. Theye understand the importance of being able to develop and deliver these systems for their clients, as well as ensuring they are working at the leading edge of technology through a dedicated Research and Development programme to design and introduce new products to the market. To meet the requirements of delivering their capital project portfolio and to work with exciting and innovative products, our client is looking for EC&I Design Engineers to join their team.

Working as part of a larger team under a Project Manager, you will be required to oversee all EC&I deliverables from concept through to commissioning. The role will be varied and will include elements of site surveys, production of EC&I designs, attending client meetings and internal liaison with other departments such as software design and workshops.

We are interested in hearing from not only Experienced EC&I Design Engineers with an understanding of HAZAREA design and ATEX gained within the Oil and Gas Industry but also from engineers from any of the individual disciplines who feel that they would like to learn something new and exciting and who wish to develop their careers.

You must have at least a HNC in a related discipline, a UK driving license and be willing to undergo both security and criminal record checks if required by our clients.

Our client would also be interested in considering first class engineering graduates with some relevant work experience to train for these positions (£18-22K)
