An ‘Outstanding’ Secondary school in East London is looking for an experienced or newly qualified Geography Teacher for a position starting immediately.

The school’s Humanities Department has been graded by Ofsted as ‘Outstanding’; this is due to the long standing and hardworking members of staff that have continued to excel students through building confident in pupils. The Humanities Department want to continue this excellent result and are now looking for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who can bring new skills and achievements to the team.

The school is known as a very supportive and encouraging NQT training school, so newly qualified teachers should feel confident about applying for this fantastic position. The school also offers excellent CPD and career progression for more experienced teachers who are now looking to expand their skill set and enter management.

You will be able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging, effective and informative lessons that keep pupils focused on work and enjoying school. You will need good behaviour and classroom management as you will be teaching a variety of ages and ability levels. Interviews for this position will be held next week with the successful candidate starting this position in October.
