They have a purpose-built manufacturing facility and a strong Lean Manufacturing culture. The vacancy is for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical) who will be employed to:

– Ensure Production Machinery is maintained & repaired to a high standard to enable maximum production speeds with minimum interruptions and breakdowns.

– Ensure Maintenance & Service records are maintained

– Devise, fabricate, and install, improvements to Production Machines

DUTIES INCLUDE

– Carry out planned maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard
– Respond to breakdowns on Production machines
– Install and relocate production equipment
– Specify & order spare parts and complete associated paperwork
– Complete maintenance records
– Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
Carry out Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic Fault Finding
– Record work carried out on a daily Time Sheet
– Liaise with Contractors, suppliers, Engineering Companies and other departments

CANDIDATE PROFILE

– Multi-skilled
– Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
– Good Mechanical and good Electrical Skills
– Experience working on pneumatics and hydraulics
– Carry out Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding
– Experience working on a range of Pumps
– Experience working on Compressors
– PC Literate (Basic use of Excel and Word)
– Experience working in a high speed, high pressure production environment
