Project Manager – Vaccine Inequality

Salary: £47,419 – £52,136 per year

In this new role you will support the St Albans community in the recovery from Covid-19. Working within the Covid-19 response and engagement team, you will co-ordinate and work across the locality with our partners, taking direction from the CCG Locality lead as well as internally within the council as well as linking with the Herts wide PM from the ICS.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

Managing the work of the Vaccine Inequality team, you will create and implement a strategy to address vaccine inequality, manage the relationship between the team and the wider Council/ other local authority partners. You will report progress to the Council and to the wider County group and attend all relevant Countywide meetings.

Project Manager Requirements:

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent, with ideally a project management qualification and/or cultural, equality and diversity training. Working knowledge of project management techniques and relevant current COVID issues, policies and guidance affecting local government is essential for this post. Excellent negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills together with demonstratable experience of managing a small team is also required. Experience of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, stakeholder relationships as well as evaluating project performance and adapting approaches is required for this post.
