Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £24 – £26.4p/h.
Location: Lichfield
Shift: Double Days
Contract role 3-6 Months

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:
Breakdown maintenance of production equipment
PPM of production equipment
Improvement Modifications
Project Work including cost reduction

Skills & Attributes

Problem solving on production equipment
Fault finding of PLC’s and ladder diagrams
Hydraulic systems
Pneumatic systems
Use of measuring equipment (DTI, micrometer, multimeter etc)
Ability to work at heights
Ability to read engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
FLT licences advantageous

Knowledge and/or Experience Required

Experience is as many of the following as possible
Hydromats
CNC rotary transfer machines
Vision systems
Stamp and clip presses
CNC lathes and millers
Pneumatics
Test equipment
PLC controlled machines
Hydraulics

Qualifications
Apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or both with relevant C&G qualifications and 17th Edition.
