Technical Service Assistant

A permanent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Service Assistant within a food processing factory. The purpose of this role is to ensure compliance, legality and quality across all aspects of product manufacturing. Therefore the ideal candidate should have a sound technical background within food chilled or frozen, be experienced with BRC Audits, HACCAPS, & Health & Safety. Assist with Audits and review policies and procedures in line with internal and external policies.

The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and be confident when dealing with both internal and external partners, attending weekly meetings and delivering reports to the board.

The role will entail trend analysis of all external microbiological results, host taste panels that can be used for problem solving.

The successful candidate will work closely and report to the Technical Manager.
