Care Home Manager (RGN)

Salary: £60,000 per year

Are you a Care Home Manager (RGN) with an excellent elderly care track record, with the desire to work for a care home that offer a great support team?

My client is a well-established Nursing Home and are currently recruiting for their home based in Shoreham-By-Sea with an outstanding reputation for the specialist end-of-life and nursing care in Brighton.

This particular position is in a purpose built nursing home which is located on the cost just at the west of Brighton and can boast about the level of luxury care they give to residents with the home being so close to amazing amenities such as the theatre, Hove Bandstand, Pier and Hove Lagoon which makes it a great place to be…for residents and staff.

As a Care Home Manager (RGN), you will be:

* General running of the home

* Keeping up-to-date with CQC guidelines and procedures.

* Making sure all paperwork is up-to-date

* Administering Medication

* Providing emotional and functional nursing care and support to elderly residents

* Keeping care plans up to date

* Liaising with other healthcare professionals i.e. GP’s, Social Workers, Therapists and Families

* Supporting all levels of staff and working closely within the management team.

Skills & Experience Needed:

* You need to be a registered nurse (RGN) with valid NMC (not necessary but is desirable)

* A minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role.

* Great level of care with an excellent nursing track record needed

* Be living within travelling distance to Shoreham-By-Sea.
