Area Sales Representative

Area Sales Representative – Norwich – Up to £30,000

A well-established company within the construction industry is currently looking to recruit an Area Sales Representative with the principle objective to increase branch revenue, develop existing and new client relationships and to assist in delivering branch and area budgets and business plans.

This position gives you the opportunity to join in the creation of infrastructure that brings life, energy and communication to the world. They operate in demanding markets, offering a range of services in a variety of sectors which include power generation, home energy, education, marine, petrochemical, nuclear, satellite and telecommunications, healthcare, events services, civil engineering, water and construction.

As the Area Sales Representative your duties will be (but not exclusive to): –

* Maintain weekly contact with existing top 10 accounts at each branch within designated areas

* Identify and secure an agreed number of new hire and/or sale accounts each month

* Maintain up to date company CRM at all times for all existing potential customers

* Be fully equipped with product literature, sales aids, pricing lists to optimise all business opportunities

* Monitor competitors’ activities and identify any threats to the company

* Attend and contribute at all sales, branch or regional meetings that may be arranged from time to time

This role requires the successful candidate to have fantastic communication, leadership and management skills, together with a broad business knowledge including commercial, financial and technical acumen. We are looking to hear from candidates with proven experience in a sales background and area sales and advantage.
