Recruitment Consultant

We are currently supporting a nationally recognised Training Provider within the UK who has achieved Grade 1 outstand status from Ofsted.
Our client has direct funding to deliver a range of Apprenticeships supporting and signposting to very large nationwide and worldwide companies.
Due to growth, we are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join a Recruitment team of around 6-8 current consultants based in the Croxley area.

The Recruitment Consultant will predominantly be based in the Croxley area pre-screening potential Apprentices using engagement techniques to give the benefits in choosing an Apprenticeship. This face paced environment will allow the consultant to engage with both Learners and Employer to make sure the correct placement is being made to continue a successful development of the client.

An ability to use sales and engagement techniques to coordinate a cohort of learners will be advantageous to maintaining our client’s reputation.

This Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for:

– Make outbound telesales calls using the data provided with the aim of generating employer vacancies, as well as pre qualifying current applicants to confirm eligibility for an Apprenticeship.
– Use thorough product knowledge to inform employers of the benefits of apprenticeships and apprentice recruitment to their business.
– Use a thorough telephone screening process for both learners and employers, to assess suitability for live vacancies as well as eligibility for apprenticeships.
– Have the ability to engage with young individuals over the phone to make sure the right learner is attending the right the course.

Skills and Experience Required for the Recruitment Consultant:

– Previous Experience of working in Recruitment/Employer Engagement
– Knowledge and Experience of working within the Training/Education Sector
– Telesales experience in a fast based environment
– Knowledge of Apprenticeships is desirable
– Target and Quality Focused, with a proven track record in exceeding sales targets
– Driving license
– Excellent Prioritisation Skills
– Good standard of computer skills
