The Company:
Our client is a nuclear specialist, covering both civilian and defence sectors, across the complete lifecycle from New Build, through Operations and Maintenance, to final decommissioning and waste disposal.
The Role:
Currently looking for Senior Project Manager to lead, direct and strategize one or a number a multi-disciplinary teams in delivering multi million pound capital projects in the nuclear industry.
Senior Project Manager Duties:
• Deliver successful projects from tender to completion
• Provide strategic direction to project management team
• Client and Subcontractor Management; strategic, relationship and contractual and commercial management
• Interface with clients project management team to report update and resolve issues
• Ensure project deliverables are met in accordance with programme, quality and cost
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven track record of delivering a large complex, multi discipline and multi subcontract, design and build project for a process plant (or similar technical challenge) from tender through to handover. The candidate would have been wholly responsible and accountable for the project as Project Manager.
• Extensive past project management experience is essential.
• Proven track record of delivering to tight deadlines
• Experienced in managing delivery from subcontractors
• Experience gained in managing delivery to clients
• Experienced gained in an highly regulated industry
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• 10 years’ PM experience in highly regulated environment
• Knowledge of NEC Contracts / Design and Construction Background
