Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
TRAINEE ESTIMATOR -ELECTRICAL
My client is an Electrical Distribution manufacturer based in Norwich. They are seeking a Trainee Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis
The successful candidate will be required to carry out estimating for Electrical switchboards but can assist the engineering team should it be required during busy periods.
The Estimator will work supervised by a fully qualified engineer and will cooperate with all engineering and sales staff to carry out their job function.
All tasks will be given to the Estimator/Junior Engineer, as available, to encourage development of the required skills.
The Estimator will carry out off site meetings/site work as part of their training and make themselves available when requested.
Development Skills include:
Prepare quotations from client drawings
Standard switchboard design
Electrical design
Electrical principles
City & Guilds or ONC/HNC in electrical engineering or equivalent is preferred
