Project Manager – Rail

Salary: £84,000 per year

This multi-national construction engineering and mobility services firm with 50 years of proven experience delivering highly complex and challenging multidisciplinary rail projects, all over the world. Having won several new high-profile projects and experienced impressive growth, a Project Manager is needed on the Transpennine Route Upgrade project in Manchester or Leeds.

Your new role
You will support the delivery of a Multi-discipline electrification delivery scheme between Dewsbury & Leeds. The individual will work across the Alliance organisations within Network Rail. Managing a team of SPM’s, the role requires significant delivery experience, integrating with the contractors and designers, as well as fronting external stakeholder management with the Sponsors & Operators. The individuals will ensure compliance with the NR delivery standards such as DWWP.

Delivering to time, cost and quality, in accordance with the Governance of Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and PACE

What you’ll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a similar role within the Rail industry will lead to your success. You will have a strong track record in delivering complex programmes on high value projects. Your programme and project management skills will allow you manage the various stakeholders & alliance partners. Previous Network Rail experience would be advantageous
