Vacancy: Nursery Room Leader
Location: Haywards Heath
Description: We are pleased to be looking for a Nursery Room Leader, for a friendly independent Nursery, based in Haywards Heath. Ideally, we would like someone who has experience and a passion for the care and development of young children between 2 and 5.
Duties:
* To ensure a high standard of physical, personal, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in their care
* To give support to other team members within their immediate room and within the wider nursery
* To nurture and care for the children and establish the children’s love of learning
* Work with children and support children’s education and development
* Lead the planning of safe, creative and appropriate learning opportunities
* Liaise with Parents/Carers

* Support the day to day management of staff including the supervision, monitoring, development and instruction of staff and students
Requirements:
* At least 2-3 years as Nursery Practitioner, preferably with Children aged 2-5
* Valid Safe guarding, First aid and food hygiene
* Childcare Level 3
* Experience with planning, being a key person, observations and assessments
* DBS is an advantage but not essential
* A genuine passion to work with children, supporting their growth and development
