Salary: £26,400 – £31,200 per year
We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced geo environmental engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Edinburgh. Suitable applicants will have experience designing and monitoring intrusive ground investigations, producing interpretive reports and managing projects.
It is essential that candidates that have a first class academic background, preferred subjects include Geology, Geoscience or Environmental Science. Ideal candidates will have an MSc in Contaminated Land or a relevant subject.
Typically you will be involved in managing large scale contaminated land, due diligence and EIA projects. Duties will include; phase I, II and III contaminated land assessments, design of assessment methodologies, site walkover surveys, historical research, undertaking intrusive investigations, monitoring work, remediation design and supervision, and production of detailed technical reports.
