Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring statutory maintenance requirements are adhered to as part of PPM schedules
Installation of new equipment in line with current regulations
Monitor engineering and plant performance.
Install equipment and minimise downtime on a range of plant machinery inc. presses, furnaces, rolling mills and pumping systems.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

Mechanical or multi skilled Apprenticeship
Mechanical Engineering ONC (or equivalent)
Mechanical or Multi Skilled NVQ level 3 (or City & Guilds equivalent)
Good all round mechanical and electrical maintenance ability, inc. hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Ability to dismantly and repair complex systems including gearboxes, linkages, pumps as well as hydraulic, pneumatic and vacuum systems.
Replacement of seals, shafts and bearings.

Shifts will be based on a 4 crew pattern incorporating days, nights and weekends
