The Role
The Software Developer will be responsible for working on our internal software solution, building on existing functionality and creating new modules in a robust, timely fashion. You will work as part of a team to achieve this. It will involve designing IT solutions to business requirements in line with the agreed design strategy and deliver IT projects to plan while minimising risk and disruption to the business. You will work to user requirements to meet the needs of the business via our in-house software solutions. These will be primarily Web solutions. The initial projects you will be working on will be altering our systems to meet the needs of our new Government Skills contracts, including our Client Cloud module. We will be looking to integrate more with Social Networking websites, so any experience in those fields would also be advantages. You will need to have excellent communication skills with an attention to detail in all business process areas. You will be able to work closely with all areas of a fast changing organisation and build excellent professional relationships.

Skills & Experience
5 years of Web development in a commercial environment using ASP.NET and Javascript. 5 years of SQL experience (or at least exposure) of the following is also highly desirable in order of preference: MVC Entity Framework Any mobile device development experience such as PhoneGAP and Objective C VB / VB.NET Crystal Reports Experience of all aspects of development/deployment life cycles
