Care Home Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

A great opportunity to work with a family run, very well established group of care homes that also provide domiciliary and live in care for its elderly and vulnerable patients – they are one of the largest care groups in the UK with over 3000 staff nationwide. They are well known for providing top quality care in the community and at the moment they are needing great staff more than ever.

They are recruiting for a full time or part time Care Home Assistant, you will be:-

* Providing elderly residents with emotional and functional care day to day

* Working part time or full time, 12, 24, or 36 hours – they need people for day shifts or night shifts

* Supporting care home nurses with looking after residents, helping with day to day duties including dressing and feeding the elderly residents as well as helping with medications

* Based from their care home in Hayling Island in South Hampshire

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements

* Living close to Hayling Island in South Hampshire

* You would need to able to pass a DBS check – this will be fast tracked

* Having an existing NVQ in care or being part way through a similar course would be advantageous but is not essential

* You need to be passionate about helping people in your community to give them care, support, and guidance in this difficult times

* You need to be reliable and demonstrate empathy and integrity
