Their company feel offers the best of both worlds; they can provide stability but offer the vibrant feel of a technology start up! Since they were established, they have doubled their revenue each year. Their plan is to double the technical team by the end of 2015. They really are a hugely ambitious company.

My client are a leading ecommerce company – they’re a Glasgow-based company with a Global reach and are in the process of a large-scale re-brand and need your skills in their growing technical team.

They are a diverse business, with a variety of skills in-house, but technology is at the core of what they do and so they provide a great working environment for their Developers.

They are based in Central Glasgow with good public transport links, and parking. This is a pivotal role and you’ll be joining the organisation at a time of ambitious growth.

Your experience:

You’ll have experience building large-scale, high-traffic web applications – and will ideally be practised in building content management systems and ecommerce applications. You’ll work in collaboration with teams across the business – so you must be a confident communicator.

You will have:

*Commercial experience in a PHP / LAMP environment.

*Ideally, exposure to Magento / e-commerce.

*Exposure to HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript.

*Experience with node.js / Laravel / Symfony 2 / Yii / Zend.

*Ideally, a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
