Senior Practitioner – Learning Disabilities

Salary: £42 per hour

Wiltshire Council are seeking experienced Locum Senior Practitioner to join their Learning Disabilities Team. The Senior Practitioner will be working with young people with a Learning Disability who have recently transitioned from children’s to adults services.

Job Responsibilities

* Pro-actively participate in the leadership team, including planning and chairing leadership, team, and area meetings.

* Manage a small caseload of complex work, using person centred practice principles to assess, support plan and review with the aim of promoting well being

* Plan, prioritise and allocate work within the team

* Promote, develop and model high quality social work practice

Job requirements

* Social Work Qualification and a minimum of two years post qualifying experience

* Full UK driving license and access to a car

* HCPC registration

* Clear Enhanced DBS

Pay rate: £42per hour
