Civil Site Supervisor

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for Civil On & Off Site Supervisor on behalf of our clients. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful Risk Management company, who work in a number of different sectors.

The role of the Civil On & Off Site Supervisor is to assure all work by the operatives, subcontractors and workforce is completed safely, on time, to budget and to the required quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for ensuring that all works comply with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental regulations
* You will be responsible for overseeing all Risk Assessments and Method Statements on site.
* promote and drive continual improvement and innovative ideas
* You will be required to ensure that all site Plant, Material and Labour is at the correct level whilst taking the project programme into account
* Be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients and personnel
* Carry out on the job training of team members where necessary
* To undertake the management of labour force and subcontractors
* Monitor and control quality of works and motivate resources to ensure finished work is in accordance with the drawings, specifications and Employer’s requirements.
* effectively manage and oversee the day-to-day operational activity, working within client specification and providing a first class service to the customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Hold relevant and appropriate sector specific qualifications.
* CSCS card.
* SSSTS qualified.
* Previous supervisory experience of leading small teams.
* Previous experience of working to tight deadlines.
* H&S conscious.
* PC Literate.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

* trained and experience with CAT & Genny.
* 180 or 360 excavator license.
* Experience with Abrasive Wheels.
* Experience with MEWP.
* Previous experience in Street works.
* Previous ability of producing RAMS.
* In date PASMA qualification.
