We are now looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant with excellent translation skills (English-Japanese/Japanese-English) join our team, concentrating on the Japanese markets.
Based at our head office in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, this is a fantastic opportunity for graduates wishing to commence their marketing or translation career or for a more experienced candidate to build on their present skills, as it will be a highly diverse and responsible role. You will work closely with other members of the Marketing Department and will be involved in a variety of marketing tasks including translation and localisation of marketing materials, writing internal and external publications, market research, events and online marketing.
This role requires the post holder to speak fluent Japanese therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate fluency, both verbal and written. The role also requires translation skills therefore the ability to translate English to Japanese and vice versa is essential.
The successful candidate should have an eye for detail, a creative flair and ideally will be educated to degree level or equivalent. You will be confident and motivated to achieve high levels of success, whilst being able to work independently on your own initiative. It is essential that all applicants possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and whilst being energetic self-starters, can also work well within a team environment.
Candidates should also have experience in using Microsoft Office software and, ideally, CRM programs.
