Production Operatives – Temp to Perm

My client is the manufacturer of luxury goods with an enviable list of clients and customers across the world. They are looking for a Production Operatives who can join as trainees and progress through their career progression programme leading to an annual salary of £26,000per year for a Master Craftsperson.

The successful Production Craftsperson will be working to high standards of craftspersonship and quality.

There are two main areas: Preparation and Assembly. There are a range of different departments/roles in different sections for the different elements of their product including quality assurance and more.

Different sections suit different people, some sections are more detailed in their nature and others that are more physically strenuous and use machinery.

Candidates start in one area, they listen to their opinions and interests on where they might fit best, taking into account availability and skills.

It is often a case of test and adjustment, as one department might be better suited than others.

There are two shifts available depending upon which area you work in and each one closes slightly earlier on a Friday of each week.

The company has a progressive development structure and are keen to find people who will be ambitious to grow with them.

Starting salary is £26,000 per year on a temp to perm basis, plus holiday pay and pension. Once employed by my client, you will be eligible for a range of benefits including life assurance, bonus scheme and a salary of over £26,000 per year for a fully experienced crafts person. Holiday entitled is 23 days rising to 25 days plus 8 days bank holiday.
