Warehouse Operative

Salary: £27,600 – £31,200 per year

Warehouse Operative/Labourer.

Stratton Recruitment Solutions are looking for a confident and motivated individual to join our clients warehouse team.

In this position, you will play a key role in the development of the branch and the efficient distribution of our full range of flooring products.

The successful candidate will be capable of working in a dynamic environment, on their own initiative, as part of a small team. A keen eye for detail is necessary, as is a willingness to be flexible, and experience of safe manual handling procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Dealing with customers face to face, giving excellent customer service
• Handling, managing & processing stock lines
• Operating processing and access machinery (training supplied)
• Picking, packing and processing orders accurately and on time
• Taking a proactive approach to stock management & housekeeping
• Careful loading/unloading of our own and others’ vehicles

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 1 years warehouse/distribution experience is preferred though not essential
• Current counter balance and reach fork lift truck qualifications preferred but not essential
• Confident when dealing with customers
• The ability to build great customer relationships
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
• Good standard of general literacy & numeracy, including basic computer skills
• Clean full driving licence preferred
