Locum Education Psychologist

Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Qualified Education Psychologist to join a large team within the East London area.

** Key Duties **

• To work as a member of a team to support and deliver psychological services in line with the planning objectives of the Special Educational Needs Service and Educational Psychology Service.

• To provide a consultation based psychological service for children, parents, teachers and others. This will include, as appropriate, direct casework at all thresholds of the Code of Practice, organisational work.

• To work with staff from education settings and other agencies and departments to promote effective multi-agency and multi-professional problem solving.

• To maintain records of work in line with agreed protocols.

** The Candidate **

• Must have a British qualification in Psychology with a post grad in Education Psychology.

• Must have experience within an SEN Environment.

• Substantial experience of assisting teachers, and others, to set and evaluate relevant learning targets, following formal assessment, for children with low incidence needs.

** Additional Information **

• The offer will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
