RGN/RMN Deputy Manager Opportunity

A fantastic Deputy Manager (RGN or RMN) opportunity within a modern elderly nursing home environment, providing nursing care for elderly and dementia residents. My Client’s nursing home is medium in size, ideally located in Borough Green, Kent – as part of a successful elderly care group the position offers a competitive salary including paid breaks, a company welcome bonus (£38,400!), and outstanding long term career development opportunities.

The home provides nursing & social care for the elderly and has an excellent reputation. It is part of a leading healthcare provider and the potential for promotion to Home Manager is excellent for the right candidate.

Job Description:

Manage the home in the absence of the Home Manager
Act as clinical lead within the home
Possess strong clinical skills and be up to date with current practices
Manage all registered nurses and implement training/induction programs for all care staff
Ensure the highest level of care is delivered throughout the home
Work with the Home Manager in improving the quality rating from CQC
Follow up enquiries on private beds both dementia and nursingCandidate Specification:

Must be a qualified RGN or RMN and have a valid NMC pin number
Be able to offer satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and references upon successful application
Previous experience providing nursing care in an elderly or dementia setting
Must have senior experience at supervisory level within a nursing home
Understanding of the NMC code of conduct
Excellent clinical skills and supervisory experience
Ability to lead and motivate other staff members
Excellent communication skills both written and verbalSenior Nurses may be considered for this role

Salary: £38,400 per annum plus £1000 welcome bonus and on-going training
