Permanent – £27,000- £35,000
My prestigious client based within the construction industry is looking for a Steel Estimator to join its growing team. Working alongside the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost analysis for a number of high profile projects.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Reading engineer/architect drawings and producing a take-off
* Complete all costing (site works, equipment, material etc) and draw up an estimate
* Have responsibility for a number of on-going projects concurrently
* Meeting with suppliers and clients
You will have the following experience
* 3-5+ years experience in a similar position
* Structural steel experience is an advantage
* Negotiation skills
