Mechanical / HVAC Maintenance Manager

Permanent position available with a leading UK facilities management service provider.

* must have a strong all round knowledge of mechanical building services equipment

Immediate opportunity to join an established business and team at one of their leading sites in the North West. Coming from a mechanical / HVAC building services background you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of HVAC maintenance engineers who are responsible for carrying out all pre planned maintenance across a large site. You will demonstrate technical expertise in mechanical systems and will be able to ensure appropriate and compliant solutions and efficient customer service is delivered at all times.

* Reporting to the technical services manager for the day to day supervision, monitoring and performance of the contract.
* Supervision of a multidiscipline team.
* Escalate issues to the senior manager as appropriate
* Ensure maintenance and other records are maintained to an appropriate standard and in accordance with site policy
* Participate in the on call system.

Qualifications or Required Experience:

* Apprentice trained and qualified/experienced in relevant trade ( Mechanical )
* Basic computer literate.
* Understanding of HR related items.

* Sound awareness of risk assessment and working safely with equipment.
* Preferably experienced with HVAC, pump systems, medical gases, and steam systems.
* Sound knowledge of the practical implementation of Health & Safety.

* Full driving licence required.
