Joiner

Salary: £22.8 per hour

XCL are currently recruiting for a client, that specialise in supplying the hospitality industry. They are a well-established, family run business who have been operating for over 75 years, manufacturing serving counters and other catering equipment.

The Job:

The client is currently looking for an experienced joiner to become part of a contract’s specials team, within the business.
They manufacture and install fully bespoke, made to order food service counters and shop fitting projects. Once these products are complete, they are tested, before being taken to the desired site to be installed by site operatives, where occasionally you may be required to help with the installation.

The ideal candidate will be:

* Reliable

* Proactive

* Have a strong work ethic

* Able to work effectively as part of a team

* Can work with MDF, solid surface and laminates

* Competent in the safe use of woodwork machinery & power tools

* Have level 2 in joinery as a minimum

* Have a full UK driving license

* Willing to travel throughout the UK as and when required

* CSCS card is desirable but not essential

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday (7:30am – 16:00pm)
Friday (7:30am – 15:00pm)

Opportunity for overtime (up to double pay rate)
