Salary: £26,000 per year

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Client is looking to recruit Production Assembly Operatives to assemble and pack industrial LED controllers and lighting products

DUTIES

As a Production Assembly Operative you will be responsible for:-

Manufacturing of electro – mechanical assemblies including all aspects of PCB assembly using both conventional and SMT methods

Producing high-quality work at all times, from material handling to accurate recording of data, quality control and final inspection

Operating PC-driven test systems in the testing, fault finding and repair of production products

Picking and packing of goods

SKILLS

You will be an excellent team player who can communicate effectively with working colleagues and demonstrate a focussed approach to work regarding quality standards and continuous improvement

Good manual dexterity and the ability to use assembly tools is essential

Hand soldering skills is a distinct advantage together with experience of following assembly drawings and procedures, although training will be given to suitable candidates

Basic PC literacy is required

HOURS OF WORK and RATE OF PAY

Monday to Friday 06.30 to 14.30 (37.5 hours)

Basic Salary: £26,000/ Overtime £14.25
