Field Service Engineer – Medical Equipment

Salary: £28,800 – £33,600 per year

Field Service Engineer required. Our client is a leading service provider in medical equipment. Due to the on-going success and growth of the company, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established team of engineers. The succesfull candidate will be reliable and hungry to grow their experience within the healthcare industry.

Field Service Engineer – Medical Equipment Position Overview

Maintaining a service area across the North and the Midlands of the UK and outside of this territory as and when required. Working on a range of medical devices and equipment.
Home based role managing a planned installation, repair and preventative maintenance schedule in a timely manner.
Attending breakdowns on a next day basis as and when necessary. Maintaining a car stock of spare parts. Equipment installation and commissioning.
Reporting with completed field service reports, expenses, timesheets, etc. in a timely manner.
To report all customer complaints to the commercial manager and work closely with the account manager to manage weekly schedule

Field Service Engineer – Medical Equipment Position Requirements

Relevant qualifications in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent, to a minimum standard of NVQ Level 2 or similar
A minimum of two years’ experience in the bio-medical field or similar, is desirable
Microsoft Office skills to a basic level
Ability to quickly learn new skills and techniques
High levels of attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly and prioritise different jobs
Full UK driving license
Willing to travel and work occasional Saturdays.
Willing to travel to Europe for occasional work.
Must be able to drive

Salary £28,800 – £33,600- Dependent upon experience
Full time position. Monday to Friday 37.5 hours a week.
29 days holiday including bank holidays
