Electrical / Instrumentation Product Development Engineer

Coming from either an Electrical or Instrumentation design
background, you will be based almost exclusively within our client’s Staffordshire Head Office forming part of a newly established team. You will help to develop their new production facility and then with the design and delivery of current and new products into the international market.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established design
engineer to grow and develop a new role within an
internationally growing company.

You will be responsible for the following:

· Design and development of new products for use within hazardous area applications.

· Assist in the certification of our new facilities and products

· Act as the technical point of contact and design lead with respect to client queries and for our client’s own internal production department.

You must possess at least a HNC in Electrical Engineering and have knowledge and experience of the design life cycle.

A good working knowledge of Baseefa, ATEX and DSEAR will
be essential in this role.

You must be able to prioritise your own workload and work to strict deadlines.
