£14.4 p/h for applicants, including overtime pay opportunities

6-10 week contract (Extension possible)

This business is a specialist manufacturer of complex equipment used in industrial markets. This company have an excellent manufacturing department who need to boost their capacity to deal with an upturn in output by adding contractor resource to assist in stretched teams. The company are well respected, widely used in there industry and have been in existence for over 20 years. This market leading, established company offers an immediate start, and a competitive rate.

What the role will involve:

You will be sent to the client’s site as part of a team, 3-5 strong, the role could vary from client to client, however you will be completing mechanical assembly / mechanical fitting tasks in all instances. The type of products you will be working on will include; steel structures, materials handling (conveyors, food mnf. equipment), platforms, SPM, pipework.

You will be responsible for;

Work from engineering drawings

Working with other members of engineering team to complete the mechanical assembly

Using a range of hands tool (you don’t need your own) to assemble machines and structures

*
Tapping, bolting, trunking, bolting

*
Working with aluminum sections, and steel

*
Making sure everything is fitted together properly within agreed tolerances

The assemblies will be quite simple; however, the environment can often be challenging making assembly more difficult

Contract length 6-10 weeks (With possibility of extension)
